Turandot è l'opera più favolosa del compositore italiano e qualunque sia la produzione, è sempre un successo, perché la musica è divina. In questo caso ciò che il pubblico vedrà sarà la bella e meravigliosa produzione classica, la stessa produzione utilizzata nel revival del teatro. Una produzione davvero squisita che mi piace molto. Ricordo che un'amica che venne con me ad uno degli spettacoli mi disse che l'abito della principessa Turandot era un capolavoro, un gioiello del costume teatrale, una meraviglia. come il resto dei costumi davvero squisiti che trasportano lo spettatore nella Cina migliaia di anni fa. In questo caso avremo la principessa Turandot interpretata da Elena Pankratova ed Ekaterina Semenchuk. Il Principe Ignoto sarà Michael Fabiano che alternerà le esibizioni con Martin Muehle. Il ruolo dello sfortunato Liú, che nell'opera avrà un destino tragico, infatti Toscanini concluse la rappresentazione alla Scala il giorno della prima quando Liú muore, poiché è proprio lì che Puccini terminò l'opera, o meglio, lui non continuò più a scrivere poi morì.I cantanti che si alterneranno nel ruolo del povero Liu saranno:
